Copy existing Orchestration and Modify

We have requirement add a pause step in the standard DOO_OrderFulfillmentGenericProcess

As suggested in the documentation we copied the seeded orchestration, we were able to add the new pause step, however we were not able to change the previous and next steps, therefore not able position the step in the correct sequence in the orchestration. Has anyone been able to do this?
