cant do "end date" for a specific element

hi,

i need to delete one of our element, i've understood that an element cant be deleted once created and we should do an "end date" to it.

the issue is when i'm entering to the relevant element via the "manage element" screen -> click on the "end date" button (with effective date as of today..) i'm getting the below error:

"The effective end date cannot be earlier than the effective end date of a child record. (PAY-1635022)
Retry the operation with a valid effective end date or remove future changes to the child record."
