Payroll - Element Entries Real Time - zero results when adding person number

I hope this is one of those obvious "doh" moments.

Subject Area:  Payroll - Element Entries Real Time

I am trying to report on element entry values by person - and when I limit it to the element, inputs, input values, etc. - it returns data.

When I add person number (from within the same subject area) then returns zero values.

Error: No Results
	The specified criteria didn't result in any data.

I know when crossing subject areas that I need to have a calculated field, but in this case, it is within the same subject area.
