GDPR - how to communicate that a candidate will be deleted through an automated message

edited Oct 1, 2018 9:11AM in Taleo Enterprise 5 comments

Summary

Before that a candidate will be deleted, it is possible trigger an automated message, as an alert of the deletion, to the candidate that will potentially be deleted?

Content

Dear all,

I am posting a GDPR issue.

We would like to trigger an automated message that alert the candidate before he/she will delated.

We know that in the Message Templates area there are no message to candidate that allert them of their future deletion.

To delete only specific candidates, as there is no criterion to enter a specific candidate id in the automated task criteria, we created a new user-defined field (UDF) and we added it to candidate files in Recruiting then set a specific value only on the candidate files to be deleted, so the automated task can then be set to delete only candidates that have this specific value in this UDF.

Howdy, Stranger!
