New "Hired" Status - Want To Change Req. Status When Candidate's Status Changes

Sorry for the question....I have done this before, but for some reason I'm blanking.

Anyway..I have created a new "hired" status.  When I put a candidate into that status, I want the req. status to change (basically to a filled status).

I have changed the status mapping, and everything else I think....but for some reason when I put a candidate into this new "hired" status....the req.  still remains in an "open" status.

Thoughts?
