Salary basis - adding additional allowance

Summary

I have a salary basis that I am adding an additional allowance to. Is it expected functionality that I would have to add a row on the manage salary page to be able to see this new allowance?

I have a salary basis that I am adding an additional allowance to.  Is it expected functionality that I would have to add a row on the manage salary page to be able to see this new allowance on the employee manage salary page?
