Unstable Production Environment

Does anyone else think it's unacceptable to have to wait 3 weeks for Oracle to fix an issue they have identified?

I received a notice yesterday for PCN-1814521.  This notice states that OTAC is currently unstable in my production environment.  Oracle has a fix for this, but they have scheduled the fix for 11-7-18.  This means that my users will be working in an unstable environment for the next three weeks.  This is unacceptable.  I opened an SR to request the date be moved up to ASAP, but was told nothing could be done about the date because the service pack to be delivered is impacting multiple clients.  If you are one of these multiple clients, don't you also feel as
