Dear all,

What role is required to use Restful API? Is "Human Capital Management Integration Specialist" role the must?  Pls kindly help. Thank you!

Below is my tries.

 

1st try => "Employee" abstract role didn't work

Steps:

1. Based on Restful API document (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/global-human-resources/18c/farws/Authorize.html), in HCM Cloud, I copied "Employee" abstract role, and added the functional privilege "Use REST Service - Employees" to the copied role.

2. In SoapUI, I used any employee's authorization (e.g. Paula.Yang) to get the "employees" resource at "
