18C Succession Plan Access Changes

edited Nov 5, 2018 3:00PM in Career and Succession 9 comments

Summary

Do we need to implement the 18C succession plan access changes per the release documentation?

Content

Hi

Per the 18C new features documentation, there is a new automation of succession plan ownership for non-private plans however  it is unclear from the documentation whether the security changes suggested is a must up take in order for the succession plan module to continue working as it does today. This is of particular concern to us as we only use private plans and we have no desire to implement this automation (yet). Do we need to apply the security changes? Can we continue creating / editing our private plans without applying the security change?
