HR visibility to HR job & grade rate values (salary ranges)

Hello,
Just reaching out to see what folks in industry are doing in this matter... We are loading Grade Rate Values (min/mid/max) on our existing Grades. For employees with HR Specialist type roles/access, we are wondering if other companies restrict these HR employees from seeing their own jobs' rates and if yes, how you go about doing this - security profiles, custom roles, etc?
We currently manage all this outside of Fusion, and simply store HR related jobs' data in a separate place that is only accessible by HR managers who need it for managing comp for their direct reports. Curious what other companies are doing here.
