Summary

Browsers are required to accept cookies for authentication into the Career Section

Content

It is now an industry standard that applications which require authentication use cookies as part of the session management and user security management.

To keep aligned with current industry trends, OTAC has made updates to how cookies and sessions are managed.  Starting in 17.9, candidates will require to have cookies enabled in their browser settings to authenticate into the Career section.

What’s changing?

Effective release 17.9, the Career Section will require candidates to have cookies enabled on their browser in order to register or sign in to the Career Section.  Candidates who attempt to register or sign in while having cookies disabled in their browser will be presented with a dialogue box advising them they will need to enable cookies to log in.
