BIP: For Year Parameter, Set Default Value as Current Year and attach LOV (SQL Query LOV) to the Year Parameter

Content

Hi,

This is related to earlier post: https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/00bdcd9175?commentId=213496#213496

I got reply on above post to use below blog to achieve the setting of default value as current year feature.:-

https://apps2fusion.com/oracle-fusion-online-training/fusion-applications/fusion-payroll/2469-defaulting-current-day-month-and-year-as-parameter-value-of-a-bi-report

But , this has few challenges.

While changing the data type and parameter type to String and Text respectively, sometimes the actual year shows up , but, sometimes the text:{$SYSDATE()$} shows up as it is. This is inconsistent. Do we have any patch to make this consistent?

Howdy, Stranger!
