Can we have custom business rules in field service


How can we configure custom client specific business rules for field operators while assigning activities. For example

  • After two consecutive activities assigned there should be a break of X number of hours and then third activity can be assigned.
  • A field operator can travel up to X number of hours in a week/day/month

In case a business rule gets violated a warning message should be displayed like OOTB warning message is displayed that service window is being lost when an activity is assigned to an operator out of its working hours. We will be triggering this validation only for manual assignment of activities to field operators.
