Hired in Employee on Wrong Hire date, Cannot change date as payroll ran

Summary

Employee Hire date cannot be changed to a later date as payroll was ran

Content

Backstory: We run weekly payroll paid out on the following Friday. Our weeks run from Sunday-Saturday. For example, payroll for 11/4-11/10 will be paid out 11/16.

Situation: A salaried employee was hired into the system with the wrong date of hire (11/16/2018). Her actual date of hire was 11/26/2018. A payroll ran on her for 11/16 and 11/17 and then we noticed she had the wrong hire date. Payroll was able to do a reversal for the payment for the EE for the two days on 11/16 and 11/17. We stopped her salary from running for 11/18-11/24 then started it for 11/25 forward. So we have now ran 3 payrolls on her.
