Looking for proactive opinions or approach to the changes to the Sunday rules in the state of MA

Content

Does Oracle or any of its Payroll customers have any proactive opinion or approach to the changes to the Sunday rules in the state of Massachusetts as detailed below.

Specifically,

  1. Are the new Sunday earnings to be paid at 1.4 x’s, 1.3 x’s, etc.; to be paid at the FLSA rate or base rate?
  2. Should the new Sunday earnings now be included in the weekly threshold to Overtime? I would think we can no longer exclude this from the threshold to continue to be compliant with FLSA.
