How to save a long string (CLOB)

Hi,

I have the need to save long strings that does not fit on the current limits of a string within a business object. My question is:

  1. Is there anyway to change the datatype/length of the BO/String to be a CLOB or a longer nvarchar ?
  2. Is it possible to write these contents to VBCS file system that would be read later on when required?
