Process life events when action items are pending and have interim coverage


Our client has life events that have pending action items like providing EOI. This action item will have interim coverage until the EOI is provided and accepted or declined. The period is 30 days to provide EOI. Client is unable to process any other life events within the 30 day period when there is pending action item. Is there a process to close out the action items in batch mode once they are past the due date?
