Max cell count reached when exporting analysis to Excel

Summary

Max cell count reached when exporting analysis to Excel truncating data

Content

Good afternoon.

We have begun seeing the following error when running some of our OTBI Analysis and then Exporting to Excel 2007+:

"View Display Error Maximum total number of cells exceeded (Configured Limit: 50000). Error Codes: EY692ZW9"

It seems the data in the Excel file is getting truncated because of this.

Can anyone advise on where this setting of 50000 limit on cells is stored and can it be changed in configuration (at either a report level or on the reporting server)?

Thank you
