If Original Item has multiple Substitute Items,which one GOP would recommend

Summary

Which substitute Item GOP would suggest if Original Item which is not in stock has more than one Substitute items in relationship

Content

If Item 1 having sales price of 10 Dollar has Item 2,3,4 in relationship as substitute items.

If Item 1 is not in stock ,which Item GOP would recommend as per the standard design,I have noticed Item 2 gets assigned with same price of 10.

Is this the expected behaviour how system works as per the standard out of the box design.

Please confirm.
