need to create a report having fields from two subject areas

Require to create an analysis for a report and it is related to recruiting subject area. but one of the required fields is in administration subject area, for that we need to combine two subject areas. There is a button called add/remove subject area which is disabled.

is it possible to enable the button. if so how?
