R13 - Configuring Expense Report Approval Notification

Boise State has opted in to the R13 functionality for configuring expense email notifications.
I am attempting to add the concatenated segment string so that it is reflected for each expense item.
I have been successful adding the concatenated segment field to the template, but only on the overall report and not on the individual expense item. Any suggestions for where to insert the field so that it is reflected for each expense item?
Our approvers desire this information on the email notification. Image attached. Thank you.
