Is it possible to set mapping rules for retained earnings account?

Our standard account for Retained Earnings is 10-30001-000-....., and we use the third segment as a balancing segment value. When retained earnings are posted, the values are used as entered, with segment 3 mapping based on BSV. Controller is requesting that for period close retained earnings, if segment 3 is 900, can the system apply account 20803 instead of 30001. Is there any functionality or mapping that would allow this? Thanks!
