GL Role Customization - Removal of REVERSAL and AUTO-REVERSAL privilege

SOLUTION :

 

You can achieve this via creating a custom role. 
Reversal of Journals is associated with "Journal Management" privilege. This role is inherited by job roles like General Accountant, General Accounting Manager and GL_CHIEF_FINANCIAL_OFFICER_JOB roles. 

For the users who should have reversal option available should have any one of these roles. 

For the users who should not have reversal option should not have all these roles. You can follow the below steps to create a new custom role for this requirement: 

1. Navigate to Security Console. 
2. Search for the role name as 'Journal Management' 
3. On the left panel, click on the drop down and select Copy role.Select Copy top role and inherited roles
