Hi all.

We are going live with Canada Payroll, OTL, and Absence on August 1st.

Our current proposed solution is that Vacation Time is handled by Absence (eligibility rules, vacation time accrual and vacation requests), and vacation pay is handled by payroll (definition of vacation pay balance and calculation of pay rates at payout event).

The proposed solution will use a payroll balance and we will set up eligibility rules for what earnings codes go into that payroll balance.  There will be a UDT table for each employee that will include the % that will be used in the calculation of the payroll balance.  There will be a FF in there somewhere doing something (probably handling rules by province since every province has a different requirement of what eligible wages are for vacation pay).  Then when a vacation request comes from Absence, we will take the Payroll Vacation Pay balance / Absence Time Balance (from
