Absence taken between two dates

Afternoon all,

I've trawled these forums and have scoured the report Sharing Centre and cannot find something which i thought was an easy ask:

I have an absence report that pulls back absences between two dates. However, absence can obviously span past the Start / End dates I am using in the filter.

So for example, I want any absence taken between 1st January 2019 and 31st March 2019. Using my report, it brings back an absence booked on the 28th April (which is correct), but it counts the whole duration of the absence in to April, when I only want to know the days that fall in March

Howdy, Stranger!
