Session Timezone in BI Publisher

Summary

BI publisher not using the timezone from the Account screen

Content

I've found that the CURRENT_DATE in BI Publisher isn't applying the timezone entered on the user account.

Using a simple data model, I've queried CURRENT_DATE, SYSDATE, SESSIONTIMEZONE and DBTIMEZONE. They all show UPT despite my user preferences showing Central Time.

Is this normal? Is there some setting that needs to be set for this? Do I need to submit an SR?
