When new region is introduced, do we need to update CLI package to access it?

We now have regions, eu-frankfurt-1, us-ashburn-1, us-phoenix-1, uk-london-1 and ca-toronto-1.

And CLI can access all of them.

When new region, say jp-tokyo-1, comes up, can CLI v2.4.26 access it?

Or do we need to update CLI to newer version?
