UK Payroll - FPS to HMRC Failing due to employee hired incorrectly

Summary

UK Payroll / FPS Issue for terminated employee

Content

Morning all,

We have a situation whereby an employee was incorrectly hired in to the wrong Legal Entity back in 2017. We are now trying to terminate her, but as she has been in the wrong Legal Entity for so long, when we run the FPS to send to HMRC after she has been terminated, it fails.

At a high level - the (incorrect) Legal Entity the employee is sat in is attached to a Payroll. The (Correct) Legal Entity the employee should have been sat in is based abroad, and does not get paid via Oracle Fusion. This means that any employees usually terminated from the correct Legal Entity we have no issues with.
