Journals appearing in worklist with "released" status

The manager of our sponsored projects has been receiving assignments in her worklist for journal batches showing a status of released. We've confirmed the journals are already approved and posted, so we aren't sure what is triggering that, and she appears to be the only user facing this issue. No action taken seems to clear them from her worklist, although all other tasks process without issue. Has anyone experienced this, or have any advice on a cause or how to clear these out? Thanks!
