There are 2 points to be considered here:

Whenever an external applicant applies for a job, there are a set of questions which a candidate has to fill up. Some of them are optional which we want to make mandatory

1. The diversity information, veteran information and disability information should be made mandatory.

2. Need to add an option under Gender for “I do not wish to disclose”.

The reason for such a request from the business is as follows:

"From a government contractor perspective, having as much candidate diversity data as possible is beneficial to required AAP analysis/efforts and helps best determine sourcing strategy from a diverse candidate standpoint. In my opinion, a candidate is more likely to provide this data if the questions are mandatory but they are given the option to “opt out” if they don’t feed comfortable answering the questions.  When questions are not mandatory candidate will most likely just skip over them and not answer.  In order to increase the likelihood of us obtaining this information so that we may more accurately identify areas of
