How do I create a Union Query in OBI Taleo Recruiting (Legacy)

Hello,

I'm trying to create either a union query or an append query in OBI Recruiting (Legacy). My first analyses is counting all Completed submissions/applications in each step and status. My second analyses is outputting requisitions that have 0 applicants. I'm familiar with union query's in that they have to be structured the same (have the same fields). If a requisition has 0 applicants there will be 0's in each step and status. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
