Looking for any input/experience on inbound feed from Principal

We are working on creating integrations to our HCM cloud solution, currently we are doing a lot of manual work.  One area of concern is updating the element entries weekly with the 401k contribution changes that occur on the 3rd party system.  We have outbound interfaces using reports but we don't have any automated inbound interfaces to work from.  Looking for any good resources/documentation on how to build out an inbound interface using UCM or any other tool.

 

I know this is fairly broad question, but there are a lot documents out there on support but none of them are really helping me understand what is going to be needed to get the file from 3rd party into UCM/other tool then convert the data to HDL to be able to load into Fusion.
