Hi,

I have checked into Oracle Maintainance CLoud and found that barcodes can be scanned during the Work Order execution. Now, as far as I know in Oracle Inventory scanning functionality is not available and that's why we need to integrate with RF Smart for enabling the scanning functionality.

  1. Since in Oracle Maintenance Cloud, I can see the "Scan" button so does it mean that RF Smart is not required for enabling the scanning functionality?
  2. Also, how the scanning will be done, any handheld device needs to be connected to the laptop? Or can be done using the app on the mobile phone.
