We have created an alert that should trigger whenever the Merit % entered is less than half of the Merit % Range Minimum. Our columns are configured as shown below, all rounded to nearest 0.01 with 2 decimal places

Merit % Range Min = Target Compensation Percentage Minimum - Component 1

Merit % = Percentage of Eligible Salary - Component 1

Alert with Condition of [Merit %] IsNotBlank  AND  [Merit %] < (0.5 * [Merit % Range Min])

We'd expect that if the Merit % Range Min = 9%, the alert would trigger upon user entry of merit % < 4.5% however the alert is triggering for some employees with merit %= 4.5%. The system seems to be looking at the target amount minimum and not just the target percentage minimum.
