How to update Sales Credit Recipient based on Opportunity Owner update

Hi,

We have automatic territory assignment when an Opportunity is created and user has to add a Product Line while creating Opportunity.

and after that in some cases our users are changing the Owner, but "Sales Credit Recipient" at Product line is not changing.

Due to this when we create reports, it is showing the Territory and manager details based on this "Sales Credit Recipient" instead of Opportunity Owner.

Is there is way to update the "Sales Credit Recipient" when Opportunity Owner is changed?

We are not using any Forecasting in our case.
