Issue Creating Pending Worker - Oracle REST_CREATE_HIRE API

Summary

Issue using the REST_CREATE_HIRE API to create a pending worker - data validation failure

Content

Hi All,

We are using REST_CREATE_HIRE to create pending workers in Oracle from our Recruitment System (TribePad).

We are very keen to learn if any other customers are using this REST API from any recruitment system? (I assume this API is available to integrate many Recruitment Systems) It would be great to learn more on how you use this and if you faced any issues/any recommendations you’d have.

We are facing an issue with the interface failing due to data clashes as we do not request a candidate’s DOB and NI number at the point of transferring them into the HR System as a pending worker, so e.g. there may be a John Smith in the HR System already, the interface is trying to create a new John Smith, but because there is no DOB or NI Number to differentiate between these employees, the interface fails at this point as there are ‘duplicates’.

Howdy, Stranger!
