Credit Memo will reduce payment below zero incorrect maths



I'm trying to pay an invoice and credit memo on the same payment. The Invoice is for $64 and the CM is for minus $14. When running the payment selection, the invoice is picked up but the cm is not. The system clearly says that the CM was not picked up as it would reduce the payment amount to below zero. I'm not an accountant but a grade schooler can figure out that 64 minus 14 is not less than zero. There are no other credit balances against this supplier and the payment profile is flagged to allow credits up
