Absence Plan - Negative Balance

We have an absence plan for equalized pay where hours are added to and taken from this plan in order to adjust an employee's time card to always be at a constant number of hours worked. This plan needs to be balanced a few times in the year. For example, if an employee has 12 hours in this plan, they will get paid out the 12 hours bringing their equalized absence plan balance to 0. If the employee has a negative balance in this plan, we need to recover 12 hours from the employee and the employee will have 12 hours of wages
