If you have just setup your Digital Customer Service reference application out-of-the-box and receive a HTTP 400 Bad Request error in your web browser inspector when attempting to submit a self registration request, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have completed all steps in Chapter 3 - "Mandatory Setup Tasks"
2. Pay close attention to the field you are using for the account key setting. In the case where you use a custom field you will need to include the _c (underscore 'c') in the field identifier. So, it may look like AccountNumber_c when you follow steps in "Setup Customer Accounts" or follow this link
