As part of the compa-ratio implementation, the min - max salary ranges vary by grade, job family and sometimes even location. The out of the box functionality allows to create grade rates by grades and LDG, but we also need ability to vary by job family and location or other geography criteria, within the same country.
We are currently using global grades and job repositories. For instance Grade 12.1 can be linked to HR Analyst (Job Family HR) and Financial Analyst (Job Family Finance). We will have a different salary range for each of them. Also, in some countries, there can be an additional variation criteria based on location. An HR analyst in Houston will have a different salary range, then an HR Analyst in Philadelphia. Is there any plan to deliver more granularity for grade rates and salary ranges?
