Enrollment Window for New Hire Life Events shifting

Summary

When the New Hire Life Events gets backed out and reprocessed, the enrollment window dates shift giving additional time for employees to enroll

Content

When the employees go into self service and add dependents etc, the New Hire Life event gets backed out internally and reprocessed. At that time, it shifts the enrollment window period completely based on the date on which back out happened. Now the employee has a new set of 31 days for enrollment through self service which is wrong.

What configuration allows to retain the original dates?

Under Reinstatement, the config Retain Original Number of days is selected, but that option only retains the number of days but not the original dates.
