365 days of service NOT computing as one year of service in statutory redundancy calculation

Summary

UK Cloud Payroll: Statutory Redundancy Calculation

Content

I have a question for the great UK Payroll Customer Connect community

We have a scenario where a colleague started work on 01-06-2015 and the leaving date is 31-05-2019 and it is exactly 4 years (365th day of the year).

However, while calculating Statutory Redundancy Payment Oracle Cloud Payroll is only considering 3 years.

Please could you share your experience? Should this should be treated as 4 years or 3 years of service (when computing the payments for Statutory Redundancy Pay)?

Thank you,

Emma
