Can weighted average of Shipping history be considered during forecasting in Planning Central

Forecasting in Planning Central

We get certain forecasted data which is not as per expected values based on the past shipment history.

While the values seem to be similar to simple average, does Planning Central have the capability/ scope to calculate the forecast based on Weighted average, either by means of a configuration or maybe a new feature planned in future versions?
