A common issue is the offer letter salary is a value that does not divide evenly into the pay frequency. For example, an offered salary of $120,000.00 to a candidate from a company with a biweekly payroll. That would result in $120K/26 = 4,615.38462 per pay period. So the actually salary ends up having to be rounded up or down in Oracle HCM and/or at the payroll vendor to what can actually be paid out. In this case, the nearest round up is $120,000.14 which is 4615.39 per pay period. Leaving the original 120K offer in the recruiting system or
