Incorrectly created cost centre

An incorrectly created cost centre is creating conflict when running certain SmartView reports

We have a situation where, within the cost centre hierarchy, a newly cost centre has been created with the incorrect character length, 5, instead of 6.

Postings have been disabled to the offending cost centre, 26006 and has also been end-dated.

Our GL accounts are 5 characters long and there exists a GL account with the same numbering convention, 26006.

However, when running SmartVIew reports using the HSGetValue formula, a conflict arises and values are not displayed for GL account 26006.

After looking into this further, it would seem the incorrectly cost center cannot be deleted, even though there are no postings to this cost centre
