Pivot report not showing values accurately

BIP Report - Table format is showing amounts correctly. But not working in pivot layout

Trying to display past 5 year compensation history. It works fine in Table format. however, when i switch is to show in pivot to enhance look and feel, i noticed that for couple of columns (Total Variable & Total Comp, which happen to be element entries) the amounts are not displaying correctly. It is showing as 'count' instead of actual value. Salary_amount column works fine in pivot format.

Am i missing something? Appreciate your inputs.
