Hello!

 

I am looking for some feedback related to enabling inactive submissions within Taleo at a relatively large company.

We are looking to enable incomplete submissions in our Taleo environment. We will be creating a new "landing step" step for incomplete submissions to fall into, but once the submissions are complete, we will be setting up an auto-progression rule to progress candidates into the existing "New" status once the submission is actually completed.

 

There is an additional caveat to enabling this, as the current “Landing” step is not active in our production environment, so when we enable inactive submissions, anyone that has an inactive submission on a role currently will show up in the “New” step initially (since landing step wasn’t available when they started an application). We are putting training together (with list format updates and documentation) to show our recruiters how they can distinguish an incomplete submission initially to clean up their existing requisitions, but going forward any incomplete submission that comes in will drop into the Landing step, and once the
