Multiple Performance Templates

2 Different Performance Templates for Compensation PlanContent
Hi,
We currently have 2 performance templates (1 for ICs and 1 for managers) with only slight variances but differences all the same. Does it matter which performance template we choose within the performance rating section of the compensation plan? Since we have 2 templates, do we then really need to have 2 compensation plans? My concern is that right now we are made up of 3 companies each with their own budget. If i have to create 2 plans for each company, i now have 6 compensation plans which becomes tough for managers to manage back to the overall company
