Fluid: Send correspondence while changing step/status

I was curious if this is a limitation in Fluid or something that will evolve with future upgrades? This issue has come up from a couple recruiters while piloting Fluid and I know it's not fully developed yet, but both the change step/status and send correspondence feature are available.  Our recruiters use the ability to send a correspondence while changing the step/status, as it saves a couple of extra clicks. Currently in fluid, you can't send a correspondence while in the step/status screen. I'm hoping it will come in future upgrades but I was curious on other's thoughts.
