Life Events and Corrections

edited Sep 5, 2020 12:10AM in Benefits 5 comments

Summary

Prevent a new hire life event being detected following a correction on the core side.

Content

Following a correction (change to existing data -- such as a Manager correction) on an Assignment record for an employee within 90 days, an additional New Hire life event is added to the Person Life Events records for that employee. This is a problem for those who have already enrolled in benefits.  It adds this additional New Life event -- and when this gets processed, all of the elections the employee made are wiped away.

Besides auditing for these additional New Hire life events and manually removing these, is there a way to prevent the additional new New Hire Life event from being added to the Person Life Events for the employee?
